Reba V. Shelton, age 86 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014.

She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. Mrs. Shelton loved to sing, sew, and adored watching the hummingbirds at her feeders. She loved her grandchildren and children, as well as all of the children at the church. The church played a special role in her life and she appreciated them dearly.

Reba was preceded in death by her husband, John A Shelton, her brothers Buel, Beecher, and Jesse (Ted) Ogle, her sisters Nobbia Ownby, Ruby Reagan, and Ella Mae Ogle.

Survivors: Sons: Hardy Shelton, Marlin Shelton and wife Donna Daughter: Helen Ogle and husband Jack, 4 Grandchildren, Many Great-grandchildren, Sisters: Mary Lucile Hatcher, Johnnie Allen and Ina Ray Lane, Vita Flynn, and Minnie Harper

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday, May 28, with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Atchley's Seymour Chapel. Rev. Dwight Singleton will officiate. Graveside service 1 PM Thursday, May 29 in Sherwood Cemetery.
