Warren William Belts, 79, died Thursday, March 1 at the Reece Hospital, Gardner, following an illness of several weeks. He was born in 1871, in Wyandotte County, and lived most of his life in De Soto. For the past ten years he had made his home at 445 South Chestnut in Olathe. He was a retired painter and paper hanger.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Belts of the home; a step-daughter, Mrs. Lillian Thompson, Tucson, Ariz., and two stepsons, Clarence Carrier, Olathe and Harry Roundtree, Buffalo, N.Y.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock, Sunday, March 4, at the Frye chapel, in Olathe, conducted by the Rev. W.E. Babb, pastor of the First Christian church of Olathe. Interment was in the De Soto cemetery. W.L. Frye & Son funeral home of Olathe was in charge of arrangements.
