ABERDEEN Lillian Dean Davis Leftwich, 93, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born Oct. 31, 1906, in Okolona to James Homer and Mary Carpenter Davis. She lived most of her adult life in Aberdeen. She was a graduate of West Point High School and a 1927 graduate of Mississippi State College for Women in Columbus. A retired school teacher, she taught in the Aberdeen School System for 33 years. She was a member of the Aberdeen First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for more than 50 years.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with the Rev. Ferrell Cork officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Aberdeen.

Survivors include one grandson, Frank R. Trotter, and his wife, Dede, of Saltillo; one granddaughter, Mary Dean Keyes, and her husband, Jeff, of Huntsville, Ala.; three great-grandchildren, Timothy Trotter, Jonathan Trotter and Matthew Keyes; one sister, Mary Davis Carothers of West Point.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Switzer Leftwich; a daughter, Martha Pope Trotter; and a son-in-law, Robert W. Trotter.

Pallbearers will be deacons of the Aberdeen First Baptist Church.

Honorary pallbearers will be T.B. Rodabough and Robert D. Patterson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials are requested to go to the Annie Armstrong Offering in care of the Aberdeen First Baptist Church or to the Martha P. Trotter Chair of World Missions, Florida Baptist Theological College in Graceville, Fla.
