Fount W. Kelley, 94, of Baytown was born October 20, 1919, in Crockett and passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014, in a local assisted living facility.

He was a U. S. Navy WWII veteran and a member of the Baytown Masonic Lodge #1357. He retired from Exxon Refinery in 1962 and was a member of First Baptist Church. He had a servants heart and enjoyed doing work for folks that otherwise couldn't afford it. He also enjoyed volunteering at the Lake Tomahawk Baptist Encampment.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bolden Starks and Annie Kelley and Alice Woodland Kelley. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Kelley; sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Dinah Kelley of Montgomery and Russell Starks and Pam Kelley of Mont Belvieu; sister and brother-in-law, Exie Gwen and Jimmy Ray Shaw of Crockett; grandchildren, Angela Johnson, Chad Kelley, Troy Kelley, Michael Kelley, Ryan Padilla, and Tyler Kelley; and great grandchildren, Elizabeth Johnson, Chad Kelley, and Mason Kelley.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, May 30, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons.
