Alberta Kathleen Price Garriott, 83, of Lewisburg, formerly of Louisville, Ky., died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, in Lewisburg.

Mrs. Garriott was a native of Louisville. She was retired from Carrier Corporation of Louisville and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Louisville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Davis Price and the Rev. John Douglas Price.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joseph Garriott of Lewisburg; daughter, Beverly (Hershel) Butler of Culleoka; grandson, Hershel (Beth) Butler III of Spring Hill; granddaughters, Kathi (Robert) Martin of Lewisburg and Elizabeth (Scott) Winn of Spring Hill; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. There will be no local visitation or services.

Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.
