Funeral services for Janice Marie Rountree Cooper Stroud, 51, of West Columbia will be held four p.m., Monday, May 26, 2014 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston. Burial will be in the Joyce Branch Section of The Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.

Janice passed away Friday, May 23, 2014. The family will be at the home of Virginia and Leonard Mills 323 Thompson Street, Elko, S.C.
Born in Barnwell County she was a daughter of Virginia Allen Mills and the late Quincy J. Rountree, Sr. She was a member of State Street Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her parents, Virginia and Leonard W. Mills of Elko; daughter, Paula Lynn (Ryan) Miller of Lexington; sons, James Quincy (Brandi) Cooper of Cayce, Robert Blaine Cooper of Lexington; grandchildren, Chase Evan, James Randall and Jorja Lynn; brother, Quincy Jennings Rountree, Jr. of Charleston; sisters, Mary Lynn (Andy) Rickenbaker of Cordova, Monica Mills of Eastover and Ginger (Bruce) Dyer of Irmo; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia G. Norris.
