Betty J. Nehmer, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at UnityPoint Allen Hospital.
She was born December 9, 1932, in Mauston, Wisconsin, daughter of William and Lennie Downing Babcock. She married Daniel E. Nehmer on May 10, 1952 in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. He died January 18, 2009.
She worked as a tax assessor for the City of Milwaukee.
Survived by a son, Daniel (Clara) of Hudson; a daughter, Lori (Henry) Czajkowski of Franklin, WI; three grandchildren; and a brother, Floyd Babcock of Mauston, WI.
Memorial Mass will be held 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with inurnment at a later date in Union Grove Cemetery, Harshaw, Wisconsin. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to Mass.
Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the afternoon of June 30, 2014 at St. Matthew Parish, 9303 S. Chicago Road, Oak Creek, WI 53154. Additional details forthcoming.
