Alfred E. Robison, 96, of Pinewood Drive, a textile worker, died Saturday October 21, 2006 at the Hebert Nursing Home in Smithfield. He was the husband of the late Marjorie (Britt) Robison.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas W. and Bertha (Shea) Robison. He had lived in Smithfield for 8 years and had previously lived in Providence. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He had worked for the former U.S. Ring Traveler as a shipping and receiving clerk. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

He is survived by his daughter Kathleen L. Robison of Smithfield.

Funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:30am from the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Taunton, MA. Visitation Tuesday
