Arthur Anderson, Sr., 91, of Orange, died November 16, 2004, at his residence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph P. Daleo officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

A native and former resident of Woodville, Mr. Anderson resided in Orange for the past 59 years. He was self-employed in the construction industry. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Anabel (DeMary) Anderson; sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur, Jr. and Pat Anderson, Felix and Karen Anderson and Richard and Janet Anderson; daughter, Mary E. Anderson all of Orange; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Mike Duhon of Katy, Geri and Bruce Taylor of Mont Belvieu, Bobbie and Lee Ford of Orange and Tina and Rod Norman also of Orange; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Anderson, Bryan Anderson, Chris Anderson, Derek Anderson, Jeff Anderson, Michael Anderson, Dustin Duhon, Hunter Taylor, Kelly Ford, Brandon Keszeg, and Corey Norman. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Anderson.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Margaret Kirkwood for her faithful care giving, the Texas Total Home Health Care, and Hospice of Southeast Texas.
