J.K. Reeves, 90, of Waco died Tuesday March 9, 1999 at a local nursing home. Service will be at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, March 11, at Wilkerson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Bill Smith officiating. Burial at Rosemound Cemetery. Mr. Reeves was born June 1, 1908 in Spring Valley. He attended schools in Moody. He married Ruby Bell Richards on February 22, 1929. He was a memeber of Robinson Drive Methodist Church. He was proceeded in death by his wife Ruby on January 24, 1997 and a son J.K. Reeves Jr. Survivors include 2 daughters, Florine Nicholson of Woodway and Mary Owen and husband Bob of Woodway; a son Bernie Reeves and wife Faye of Robinson; a sister Faye Tountas of Waco; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Visitation will be 7-8:30 P.M. Wednesday at Wilkinson-Hatch-Bailey. Pallbearers will be Mike Reeves, Brian Ashby, Donny Hagle, Wayne Blancett Jr., Greg Blancett and Mark Blancett.
