Vondell Aaron Painter was born May 13th 1919 in Payson Utah. His parents are Frank Nelson Painter and Emma Augusta Peterson Painter. Vondell is the third of seven children. His siblings are Sisters Marjorie Painter Christensen. Florence Ida Painter Smith. Brothers Rulon Jack Painter.Clifton T. Painter. Reed Painter. Marion Painter.
Vondell married Louise June Kelley on July 2nd 1938 in Santaquin. Vondell and Louise had three daughters. Sherry Painter Whitlow, Marilyn Louise Painter Woods, Barbara Jane Painter Rausch. They raised their daughters in Santaquin. Vondell built his home for his family himself. Louise died on April 4th 1978. Vondell then married Margaret Mitchel Simmons on September 23rd 1978.
Vondell loved doing yard work. He kept his yard spotless. His garage was his domain. He had it organized down to every nut and bolt. He put in a swimming pool for his grandchildren and didnt mind the grandchildren having the neighborhood kids over for a swim or a game of red rover and pomp. He made the best home made rootbeer!
