Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at the Bell Funeral Home Chapel in Sumiton with burial in Union Cemetery. Rev. Don Westbrook and Rev. Doug Tate will officiate. Bell Funeral Home will direct.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. tonight, Dec. 17, 2001, in the parlor at the funeral home.
He was a member of Empire Assembly of God.
He is preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Barnett and Donna Richardson.
He is survived by his wife, Ludie Allums; a daughter, Ellen Ann Mann of Dora; two sons, Gene Carroll Allums of Cape Charles, Va. and Paul Clayton Allums of Cordova; two step-sons, Kenneth Johnson of Florida and Billy Ray Johnson of Montevallo; a step-daughter, Mary Ruth Furline of Calera; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
