Rosa May Pollock, 81, of the Horizon House Health Care Center in Canonsburg, formerly of 248 1/2 North Main St., Houston, died Friday July 7, 1989 in the Horizon House.
She was born July 22, 1907 in West Finley Township, a daughter of George W. and Mary Majors Frye.
Mrs. Pollock had been a nurse's aide at Washington Hospital. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters, Lodge 172 of Canonsburg for 40 years.
Mrs. Pollock also was a member of Canonsburg Senior Citizens. Her husband Earl (Pete) Collins Pollock, died March 23, 1989.
She is survived by a daughter, Anna Lee Naser of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Decease are a daughter, Roberta Musante; two sisters and three brothers.
Services will be Monday, July 10 in the William E. Speakman Funeral Home, Ltd, Houston, with the Rev. G. Sherman Ott, officiating. Internment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery. - Observer Reporter, July 8, 1989.
