Sybil was the daughter of Samuel Bowers and Maude Eells-Bowers. She grew up in Harper County and attended school in Rosston, Okla. At the age of sixteen, her family moved to Idaho where they settled in the Marsing area. She soon met and married Noah Sevy in Caldwell in March 9, 1937. They made their home in the Marsing area where they farmed and operated a dairy.
A devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed working in her yard, reading, sewing, and doing crossword puzzles. However, most of all, she loved God and faithfully served him. She was a lifetime member of the Followers of Christ Church.
