Theodore Starck, residing about eight miles west of Fairbury died Saturday night of heart failure. He was in Fairbury during the day and retired in his usual health. About eleven he awoke with a choking sensation and in a few minutes expired.
Mr. Starck was born in Germany 54 years ago. He came to America in 1872, settling at Peru, Illinois. In 1883 he moved to Nebraska, living most of the time at the old home where he died.
He leaves, besides his wife, seven children, Chas Starck, residing on a farm near Gladstone; Wm. G., Anna and Theodore, all in North Dakota; Lena, John and Arthur at home.
The funeral occurs today.
