Luvenia Moore was the daughter of Hinchey and Temperance Moore. She was born in Brunswick County, Virginia in 1863. She was married to Benjamin James Spence on December 23, 1890. Luvenia and Benjamin Spence had two children; Ellen and Benjamin Orien. Benjamin Spence died while Luvenia was pregnant with their son. Luvenia married George Archer on November 24, 1897. After Georges death in 1922 Luvenia lived with her daughter Ellen and her husband Richard Braswell. She died on September 22, 1931 and was buried in the cemetery at the Braswell homeplace.
