George Guerin Dies at Home From Heart Attack.
Ramsey, Feb. 29 – Word has been received her by Mr. and Mrs. Steve Pospeck, and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Newman of the death of their brother-in-law, George Guerin, of Lebanon, Wis. Mr. Guerin is well known here. He was a former resident of Harding and Mrs. Guerin was the former Selma Newman of Harding.
The following is the account from a New London paper:
George Guerin, 45, town of Lebanon farmer, died suddenly at 4:45 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at his home. Death was the result of a heart attack.
He was born January 17, 1895 in Manawa, a son of Leroy and Armeina Guerin. His marriage to Selma Newman took place June 18, 1924, and for the past eight years the couple resided on a farm in Lebanon.
Survivors are his wife, seven children, Donald, Delores, Harland, Gwendolyn, and Larry at home, Alton Silsby of New London and Mrs. Geraldine Stein, his mother, Mrs. John Sachs, two brothers, Roy of Manawa, Edson of New London, two sisters, Mrs. William Frederick, and Mrs. Tinnie Leach of New London.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the First Methodist Church.
The Rev. R. R. Halliday officiated and interment was in the Floral Hill Cemetery.
