He migrated to Montague Co., TX about 1884 where he died at the residence of his daughter, Medora Anna Pecaw Crump, near Mallard Creek, Montague Co., TX. A cemetery search for a marker indicates that there is no marker on this grave. He is probably buried near the stone marked "Crump".
