Edith C. Jones, 89, of Keokuk, died at 5:10 pm, Sunday, April 20, 2014, at the Madison care center in Ft. Madison, Iowa.

Edith was born August 11, 1924, in Quincy, Ill, the daughter of Joseph Leonard and Nellie Mae Mondon Lanam, St. She lived most of her life in Montrose, Iowa. She worked for S.t Louuis Gear in production before retiring in 1984. She was a member of the New Testament Christian Church. She loved to yodel and dance.

She is survived by five children: Phyllis Lewis and her husband don of Keokuk, IA; Shirley Larrimore and her husband Joseph of Marion, IA; Leonard Yoe and his wife Kathy of Shellsburg, IA; Becky Munoz and her husband Jose of Donnellson, IA, and ptraicia Boatwright of Ft. Madison, IA a longtime friend Glen Barker, daughter-in-law kathy Yoe of LeClair, IA and numberous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: #verett Yoe and John Yoe and one brother.

Cremation has taken place.

Family graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2013 at Montrose Cemetery
