Benjamin H. Crum has a CSA pension application on line in the GA Archives under Tift County. He says he enlisted in March 1861 in Nashville, Ga and served with Company I of the 50th GA . He was captured at Cedar Creek, VA in Oct. 1864 and sent to prison in Pt. Lookout, Md. He was released in June 1865. D. P. Luke from Cook County, GA was in the same unit and was Mr. Crum's witness.
