Funeral services for Julian Oliver, 75 , of Crowville were held at 4 p.m., Sept. 22nd, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Interment was in Providence Memorial Cemetery of Delhi with Rev. S.B. Boyette officiating. He was a member of Hillridge Baptist Church of Crowville and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Oliver, Crowville; five sons, Billy E. Oliver, Morgan City, Julian Dale Oliver, Charleston, S.C., Donald Wayne Oliver, Baskin, Dalton Ray Oliver, Delhi, Delbert Oliver, Delhi; three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Harper, Winnsboro, Mrs. Maxine Caldwell, Jackson, Miss., Carolyn O. French, New Orleans; three sisters, Mrs. Gillie Allen, Jonesboro, Mrs. Frances McNaughton, Winnfield, and Mrs. Henrietta Ott, Hodge; 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
