Ralph George Sutter, 91, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 6, 2013. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, September 25, 1922.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lillian, of 66 years; his parents; and 5 brothers. He is survived by 3 daughters and two sons; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Ralph was a decorated veteran of WWII. He served as tail gunner on the B24. He went on 26 missions one of which was the Ploesti Raid (Operation Tidal Wave).

After moving to Colorado Springs in 1959, he had several businesses. He owned a gas station and mechanic shop for many years. He owned Sutter's Lawnmower Sales & Service. He also serviced and sold snowmobiles. He and his wife, Lillian, were leaders in Shaklee since 1973.

Ralph was a member of The Gideons and enjoyed passing out Bibles. He was active in the church for many years. He especially liked greeting people.

A viewing for Ralph will be held Thursday, October 10, 2013, at 9:00AM at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado, with a service following at 10:00AM. He will be laid to rest at Fort Logan Veterans Cemetery at 2:15PM Thursday afternoon.

In memory of Ralph, in lieu of flowers a donation to the The Gideons or Anchor Way Baptist Church would be appreciated.
