Rose V. Duda, 69, of 315 Beach St. died Monday at Oswego Hospital after a long illness. A native of Utica, Mrs. Duda resided most of her life in Fulton. Her husband, Walter J., died in 1988. Mrs. Duda retired in 1982 after more than 20 years with Nestle Co. Mrs. Duda was a communicant of St. Michael's Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving are two sons, James W. of Colleyville, Texas, and Lt. Col. Gerald J. of Aiea, Hawaii; two daughters, Dawn A. Alsworth and Donna M. Kelly, both of Fulton; four sisters, Sister Mary Fabian of Brooklyn, Helene Stearns of Binghamton, and Jean Kresa and Celia Sutkowski, both of Utica; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
