The name Pennuel is a bit unusual, but possibly named after his mother Elizabeth Penny. (named after mother's brother. Penuel Penny)

As per "Forefolk of Meg Barnett" Pennuel appears in the 1830 and 1840 census of McKracken Co., KY. He also appears in the 1850 census of Ballard Co., KY.He is in HH531. In War of 1812, Private in Rangers, United States Volunteers. Roll Box 17. He died in Limestone Co., TX and supposedly buried in Mt. Calm Cemetery. On Oct. 11, 1854, Pennuel appointed Reuben F. Billington his Power of Attorney in order to receive his part of his father's estate (Ezekiel had died Sept. 28, 1848). He married Nancy Wadsworth @ 1815. She is the daughter of James Wadsworth.
