Linda grew up in North Houston with her sister and parents living at 7514 Meadowyork, attending the newly opened Fonville Junior High School and graduating with the June Class of 1966 of Sam Houston High School where she had been active in the national program DECA.. in June 1967 she married David Ronald "Ronnie" Williams. In 1995 Linda graduated with Honors on the Dean's List in the top 10% of her class at Sam Houston State University where she majored in Psychology and Minored in English to advance her writing skills.

Linda was extremely blessed to have seen her daughter's daughter born, and see her son get married and have his three children. She felt very blessed to have lived with and helped in raising one of her granddaughters and to have loved and spent time with all four of her grandchildren as they have grown into bright, beautiful kids.

Linda loved to paint, read and write and always loved to learn, which she was able to share with her kids and grandchildren. Throughout her life, Linda had an unconditional and undying love for her family and no matter what happened, her children and then grandchildren always came first.

Proceeded in death by her beloved sister, Barbara Morris; and her husband, Ronnie Williams.

Linda leaves behind her daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Jean Williams and granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Williams; her son, David Ronald Williams; daughter-in-law, Jenny Annette Williams; granddaughter, Monica Myra Williams; grandson, David Ronald Williams Jr.; granddaughter, Madison Renae Williams; and her beloved Beagle, Freckles.

Mom, we will love you always, cherish all of the memories you so lovingly gave us and continue to teach our kids the same values and traditions you instilled in us so many years ago. Cindy and Dave & Jenny......
