HUCHTON-LAMOYNE WEDDING TO BE ON THANKSGIVING DAY

MISS EMILDA HUCHTON is to become the bride of LaMOYNE HOWARD on Thanksgiving day at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's cathedral.

Miss Huchton is the daughter of MR. and MRS. B.H. HUCHTON. She attended St. Mary's school in Gainsville and the International Business college of El Paso.

MISS NAOMI HOWARD, sister of the bridegroom-to-be, will serve as maid of honor. PAUL HUCHTON, a brother of the bride-to-be, will serve as best man.

A wedding breakfast at the Huchton home will be served immediately after the wedding.

Mr. Howard's aunt, MISS AMELIA PLOUVIER, of Louisville, Ky., will come to El Paso for the wedding. Mrs. W.W. MAY, sister of Mr. Howard, will come from Tuscon, Ariz. She will be accompanied by her children.

Mr. Howard is with the American Smelter & Refining Co.

TO ENTERTAIN IN HONOR OF MISS HUCHTON

AFTERNOON AFFAIR TO HONOR BRIDE-TO-BE

Miss Opal Rynearson, 3518 Douglas, will entertain at her home Sunday at 2:30 p.m. for MISS EMILDA HUCHTON, who will become the bride of LeMOYNE HOWARD, Thanksgiving day.

The guests who will attend are: MISSES HUCHTON, Pauline Gillespie, Ella Hamilton, Olivette Rue, NAOMI HOWARD, Elsie Strickland, Amelia Prouier and Mrs. Katy Law.

Miss Rynearson will be assisted by her sister, Mrs. Frank McCollom.

Miss Huchton was the honored guest at a bridge shower given by Mmes. W.D. Culbreath and A.A. Gill, at the home of Mrs. Gill, the Alexander apartments, today at 2:30 p.m.

Orchid and pink were featured in the decoration and refreshments. Mary Lane Derrick gave the shower gifts to Miss Huchton.

The guests who attended are: Misses NAOMI HOWARD, Mary Grace Ross, Pauline Gillespie, Ella Hamilton, Iva Mae Brown, Helen Walker, Elsie Strickland, Opal Rynearson, Marguerite Dugan, Amelian Prouvier, Mary Morris, Mmes. C.W. Buckner, B.H. HUCHTON, C.H. Derrick, C.C. Boldt, R.R. Smith, Russell Mack, Bert Neugebauer, Katy Law, A.H. Duderstadt, Dean Earp and May of Arizona.

TO MARRY AT ST. PATRICK'S THANKSGIVING

HUCHTON-HOWARD WEDDING TO BE AT 9 A.M.

The ring ceremony will be used when the wedding of MISS EMILDA HUCHTON and LaMOYNE HOWARD is solemnized at St. Patrick's cathedral, Thursday at 9 a.m.

Father Robt. O'Loughran will perform the ceremony.

The church will be decorated with chrysanthemums, roses and palms.

MISS NAOMI HOWARD will be maid of honor. PAUL HUCHTON will attend Mr. Howard as best man.

Miss Theresa Torpey will play the wedding march. Leo Heisler will sing "I Love You Truly" and "Ave Maria".

Miss Huchton will wear blue crepe, trimmed in blue velvet. Her hat is blue and silver. She will carry a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses.

Miss Howard will wear golden brown satin. Her bouquet will be pink roses.

MRS. HUCHTON, mother of the bride, will wear brown crepe and velvet.

Following the ceremony, MR. and MRS. B.H. HUCHTON will give a wedding breakfast at their home, 4108 Heuco, for the immediate families.

The table will be decorated with white roses and chrysanthemums. White tapers in green holders will be used.

Mr. Howard is with the Asarco Mercantile Co.

They will make their home in El Paso.

Out-of-town guests who will attend the wedding are: Miss Amelia Plouvier of Louisville, Ky., Mr. and Mrs. W.W. May of Tucson; and Miss Esther Witthaus, of Las Cruces.
