From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Friday, September 24, 1926, p. 25:

W. B. Blankenship, 37, of 514 Louisiana Avenue, died in a hospital at 4:15 p.m. Thursday. He is survived by his wife, four sisters, Mrs. J. H. May, Mrs. Lottie Wall, Mrs. Elva Adcox and Mrs. Frances Ferguson, and a brother, Barney. Funeral services will be held at the Robertson & Mueller chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
