Mrs. Laura Ettie Baker Tysinger age 85, of Old Camp Rd., Denton died Wednesday May 14, 2014 at Thomasville Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Summerville Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Flynn Richardson and Rev. Mike Motley. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Tysinger was born August 14, 1928 to Albert Filmore Baker and Loreene Foster Baker. She was a homemaker and a member of Summerville Baptist Church. Laura was preceded in death by her husband; James Luther Tysinger and by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Tysinger is survived by daughters; Sherry Diane Tysinger of Denton, Phyllis Jean Tysinger Hughes of Lexington, and Nancy Jo Tysinger Tate of Denton, also by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home on Old Camp Rd.
