Ann was born in Arcadia, Kansas, to the late W.O. and Violet (Lane) Hartman. She married Tom B. Maples on July 14, 1956. She devoted her entire life to caring for others from 1953 until her retirement from Providence Hospital in 1985. Ann was a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years and opened the hearts and minds of many young people. She enjoyed quilting, crochet, reading and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include her daughters: Denise, Sheila Webb and husband, Larry, and Roxane Barlow; sons, Tommy Maples and wife, Jamie, and Roger Maples and wife, Carina; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Kennetha Hartman and wife, Emm; and other relatives and many friends.
