He resided at Clymer, New York in 1948 when he was a shovel operator with A & K Builders Supplies Incorporated at Jamestown. Grant married to widow, Evelyn Davis Smith on 16 March 1970 at Bradenton, Florida. Grant and Evelyn had no children.
