Margaret Louise Adams

Margaret Louise Litchford Adams was born January 25, 1926 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to John and Ruth Litchford. She married Bob Adams on June 28, 1943 in Amarillo. They lived most of their married life in Phillips, Texas where she was active in the Phillips Methodist Church as a member of United Methodist Women and as a member of various church committees. She was also a member of Borger Chapter #811 of the Order of the Eastern Star where she served faithfully for many years.

Bob died July 4, 2010. They had been married 67 years at that time.

She is survived by two daughters: Cheryl Orman and husband, Larry; Bobbie Sue Nichols all of Amarillo; two grandsons: Jeff Baker and wife, Cindy of Canyon; Kelly Baker and wife, Amy of Houston; two granddaughters: Traci McKinley of Burleson; Keeley Orman-Adcox and husband, Brad Adcox of Dripping Springs; and nine great grandchildren: Colton, Braden, Madison, Blake, Andrew, and Cara Baker; Sean McKinley; Conner and Corbin Adcox. She is also survived by four sisters: Thelma Dugan; Shirley Wood and husband, Roy; and Norma Woods all of Fritch; Carol Roark and husband, Kenny of Midlothian; and one brother; James Litchford of Montvale, VA. Louise is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. At the time of her death, Louise was a resident of Childer's Place where she was cared for by a wonderful, loving staff. She was also provided wonderful, loving care by Hospice Care of the Southwest.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 23, 2014, at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger, Texas.
