Perry L. Paxton
Dies in Charlotte
Perry Luther Paxton, 27 year old resident of Mooresville, route 1, died in the Charlotte Memorial Hospital at 9:45 o'clock Thursday night, after an illness of about five weeks.
Mr. Paxton, a native of Iredell county was a son of Mrs. Noah [sic] Starnes Paxton and the late Samuel D. Paxton of Mooresville.
The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Kathleen Hardin Paxton; two children, Bobby Lawrence and Teddy Lee Paxton; his mother, Mrs. Norah Starnes Paxton, two sisters, Mrs. R. M. Hager of Morresville, route 1, and Mrs. Gillie Deaton or Mooresville; and two brothers, E. J. Paxton of Mooresville and Herman Paxton of Concord.
Funeral services were conducted at the Fairview Methodist church Saturday afternoon at 3'oclock, and burial was in the church graveyard.
