Anna (Silvera [should be Luiz]) Abrum, wife of John F. Abrum, died Sunday night in her 49th year at her home 54 Silver Street, after a sickness of three years’ duration. She was born on Fayal Island in the Azores, the daughter of the late Antone Silva Luiz and Rose (Silvera) Luiz. She has made her home in this city for a number of years.
Mrs. Abrum is survived by her husband and eight children, Mary. Dorothy, Helena, Esther, Antonio, John, Edmond and Edward Abrum; three sisters, Mrs. F. Perry, Mrs. Joseph Gomes and Mrs. John Silva and one brother, Charles Luiz, all of this city. She was a member of the Royal M.A.B. Association and a communicant of the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes.
