Woodrow Lawrence (Larry) Willoughby was born May 22, 1944 in Norfolk, VA to Woodrow and Hazel Willoughby. He died suddenly on July 9, 2013. He moved to Oklahoma and married Jacque on October 10, 1980. He was a leader in the community, a great salesman, and an avid golfer. He and Jacque were Madison Elementary and Irving Middle School PTSA presidents, he served on Norman Public Schools Citizen Advisory Board, Gifted Advisory Board, and Staff Development Advisory Board. Larry never said "No" to a request for serving others. He received many community awards; among them, in 1996, Volunteer of the Year for Service to Youth and Education. In 1998, he also received the Oklahoma State Public Relations Association Partners for Excellence Award. He was also an active member of Crosspointe Church. He is survived by his wife, Jacque, his children Matthew Willoughby and his wife Debbie of Hurst, TX, Jeremy Willoughby of Moore, OK, and Amanda Henrichs and husband Brian of Ocoee, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kaila, Kelcee, and Jeremiah Willoughby, and step-grandchildren Ashley and Connor Chapman. He is also survived by his brother Donnie Willoughby and his wife Beth of Columbus, GA, his sister Judy Collins of Raleigh, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Crosspointe Church in Norman, OK. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Norman, OK. In lieu of flowers please send any donations to: Compassion Pointe or Norman Jr. Golf Assn.
