Orpha J. Lee, 75, the mother of Marguerite Southard of Lafayette, died Thursday evening in Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle following a brief illness.

She was born June 25, 1910, in Albany, Ky. She lived in New Castle.

Mrs. Lee was a member of Spiceland Church of the Nazarene.

Her husband, August, preceded her in death in 1982.

Surviving besides the daughter, Marguerite, are seven sons, Bob, Lowell, Jack, Danny, Bill, Dennis and Earl Lee.
