Mrs. Victoria Boone Hardesty died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday night [April 24, 1954] at the Baptist Hospital, Louisville. Mrs. Hardesty was the daughter of the late Hiram & Mollie Boone and lived in Roberta, Meade County, until her marriage to Richard W. Hardesty, president of the United Furniture Co., Louisville. She is survived by her husband; 1 sister, Mrs. Booe; 1 brother, Samuel Boone; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted at Pearson's Funeral Home Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Callers at the funeral home Sunday night were Mr. & Mrs. Allen Thompson, Mr. & Mrs. J.H. Fullinwider, Mrs. Albert Chism and Rice Griggs. Mr. & Mrs. Otis Ayers, Mrs. Allen Thompson, Mrs. Albert Chism and Mrs. Shirley Vandiver attended the funeral of Mrs. Victoria B. Hardesty in Louisville, Tuesday morning.
