Webb as he was called was born in Mad River Township, Montgomery County Ohio to the parents of Christian F. Rohrer and Irene Dell Newcom. He was the oldest of seven children, helped his father with the family farm and married a local girl Ida May Davidson who was born and grew up in Harshmanville, Ohio which was also located in Mad River Township but East of the Rohrer farm. Webb was a salesman who travelled out of town often, Webb and Ida had one child a son that they named Fay Wagner Rohrer who was born in Montgomery County. Later Webb and Ida with their son located to Tremont City, Ohio which is several miles north east of his fathers farm in Clark County, Ohio. Fay married Mary Brannum and both Fay and Mary are buried in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Tremont City.
