QC Times - Services for Herman L. Washcher, 83, of Fullerton, Calif., formerly of Champaign, Ill., will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hodgson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park.
Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Wascher died Saturday in Fullerton.
He had been an agronomist for 41 years at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
Mr. Wascher married Faye Muhlenburg in 1933 in Peoria. She died in 1978.
Survivors include sons, Loren, Cerritos, Calif.; Thomas, Fullerton; Martin, San Diego; and Steve, Rochester, N.Y., and eight grandchildren.
