Chesapeake - Larry W. Amerson, 61, of Chesapeake passed away on May 5, 2012. He was born to the late Marianna and Charlie Amerson on September 3, 1950 in Norfolk, Va.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline C. Amerson; daughter, Jessica L. Amerson; brother, Phillip E. Amerson; and nieces and nephews.

Larry was a proud Vietnam veteran from the U.S. Navy. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. For 8 years, he coached his daughter's girls' softball team for VB Parks & Rec. His aloha spirit will be in the hearts of all of us.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sidney M. Oman Cancer Treatment Center, c/o Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, 736 Battlefield Blvd. N., Chesapeake, VA 23320.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the family home on May 19 between 2 and 5 p.m.
