Monica P. Stahl, 94, Carmel, Ind., and formerly of Oldenburg, Ind., died Friday, Jan. 11, 1991 in the Community Hospital North, Indianapolis.

She was born April 3, 1906 in Oldenburg, Ind., the daughter of Harry and Anna Decker Burdick. she was a member of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Carmel, Ind., and a former member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Oldenburg, Ind., and a former member of the Professional Women's Association in Batesville, Ind. She was a retired employee of the Oldenburg Post Office and a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Jerald Stahl, Farmington, Conn.; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Kathy) Leising, Carmel, Ind.; one brother, Omer Burdick, Oldenburg, Ind. and 11 grandchildren.

One brother, Victor Burdick, preceded her in death.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Holy Family Catholic Church, Oldenburg, Ind., with the Rev. Adrian Schneider OFM, officiating.

Burial will be in the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Weigel Funeral Home, Batesville, Ind.

There will be a rosary at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
