Stephen Fredrick Congdon age 68 of Columbiaville; loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away April 4, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Steve was born January 20, 1942 in Flint, Michigan to Arnold and Mary Jane (Pearce) Congdon. He graduated from Lapeer High in 1960. Steve married on September 19, 1963 in Lapeer, Michigan. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed watching the Tigers and the Lions play. Steve also loved his family very much and especially his grandson Jacob. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his cabin in Mio, Michigan. Steve will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by his wife of 46 years; 3 daughters; grandson and love of his life; mother, Mary Jane (Pearce) Congdon of Haslett; brother; two nieces; two special great nieces. He is preceded in death by his father Arnold F. Congdon. Funeral service will be held Wednesday April 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors Capstick Chapel, 542 Liberty Park, Lapeer, MI 48446. Rev. Todd Batzloff will be officiating.

You ask about Stephen Congdon also 1941-2010, Funeral Home in Lapeer where service was done stated he was cremated but unknown where ashes are, Oregon Twp Cemetery said he wasn't buried as of yet. Hope this helps.
