Elizabeth S. McDowell, 70, of 203 Lansdowne Road, DeWitt, died Sunday at her home.
A native of Rome, Mrs. McDowell lived in the DeWitt area since 1960.
She attended Catherine Gibbs School in Boston, Mass., and worked for the Parish Supply Corp., retiring in 1979.
Mrs. McDowell was a member of DeWitt Community Church.
She was the widow of Dr. Arthur C. Tedd Jr., who died in 1962, and Willard B. McDowell, who died in 1978.
Surviving are two sons, Arthur C. Tedd III of Canastota and Thomas H. Tedd of Pennington, N.J.; two stepsons, Willard B. McDowell Jr. of Bethel, Conn., and J. Douglas McDowell of Skaneateles; her mother, Marion S. Sears of Rome; two brothers, Thomas A. Sears and Howard P. Sears, both of Rome; a sister, Barbara Dehimer of Rome; 15 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the DeWitt Community Church. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
There will be no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Onondaga County Unit, 7145 Henry Clay Blvd., Liverpool.
