Joe died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at his home in Columbus.
Joseph A. Badstieber was born Sept. 20, 1942 in Columbus to Joseph and Clara (Micek) Badstieber. He attended St. Anthony School then went on to Scotus Central Catholic High School where he graduated in 1960. Joe entered and served in the Army National Guard, starting in 1964. On April 1, 1967 he was united in marriage to Jan Brownell at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Joe worked at Becton-Dickinson from 1960 until his retirement in 1997. Joe also owned and operated JB Storage. He was a member of St. Anthony Church. Joe enjoyed working in the shop, going to lunch with his friends, and spending time with his grandchildren.
