Ada Mae Paynter was born Mach 20, 1922 in Seymour Township, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Eva (Kendall) O'Brien. On February 23, 1949, Ada married Preston H. Paynter. They shared more than 43 year together before his death on June 5, 1992. Family was the world to Ada.
Ada and Preston were blessed with three sons:

Larry Paynter of Darlington, WI
Charles (Diane) Paynter of Platteville, WI
Besides her children Ada is survived by 2 stepchildren: Chad (Lisa) Manuell of Madison, WI and Ryan Manuell of St. Louis, MO; a step-great-grandson; her brothers and sisters: Jaunita Prine of Darlington, WI; Rose Ann (Ron) Cox of Rockford, IL; Barbara Nyman of Rock City, IL; Mary (Norman) Lancaster of Broadhead, WI; Joseph O'Brien of Evansville, WI; and Robert O'Brien of Marshall, TX; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister, Lauretta Pattinson; her brothers: James, Henry, and Bernard O'Brien; and three step-sisters: Anna Dresden, Mary Landon and Lillian Zimmeran.
Ada was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, of its Catholic Council of Women, and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Ada will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by family and friends.
