Bernard M. Kunkel services Saturday

Services for Bernard M. "Bernie" Kunkel, 72, Indianapolis, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary and at 11 a.m. in St. Matthew Catholic Church.

Calling will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday. A Bishop Chatard Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus service will be at 7 p.m. Friday. Entombment will be in Oaklawn Mausoleum.

Kunkel, who died Tuesday in Winona Hospital, owned Kunkel Pharmacy, 1123 N. Arlington Ave., 20 years. He retired in 1974.

He was a member of St. Pius X Council of Knights of Columbus, fourth degree of Bishop Chatard Assembly of Knights of Columbus and National Association of Retail Druggists. He was a former president of Indianapolis Association of Retail Druggists and was a World War II Navy veteran.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion County Cancer Society.
