Funeral for George Wl Holmes, 77, Baylor County resident for 51 years, will be held at 2 pm Saturday in Westover Church with the Rev. Everett Cockrell, pastor of the Levelland Methodist Church, officiating. Lunn Funeral Home of Olney is handling arrangements.
Mr. Holmes, a retired farmer, died at 7:50 pm Thursday in the home of a brother, Guy, at Westover, 16 miles east of Seymour. He had been ill four months.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Bynum of Seymour; three brothers, Jim of Dundee, and Guy and Arch both of Seymour, and one sister, Mrs. Roy Stevens of Weatherford.
