Mrs. Florence Shuler, 86, long-time resident of Topeka, died Sunday in Denver, Colo. She was born December 20, 18 (very blurry) in Lafayette, Ind., and came to Topeka with her parents when she was six years old. She was the wife of the late Henry E. Shuler.
She was a member of the Oakland Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, and Royal Neighbors. She left Topeka in 1936 to live with her daughters in Golden, Colo.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Clayton, Golden, Colo., and Mrs. Dorothy Willett, Pine, Colo.; a grandson; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jesse A. and Joseph E. Smelser, both of Topeka.
Funeral services and burial will be in Topeka.
