Maurine was born in St. Anthony, Idaho on July 5, 1927. She was the sixth of eight children. Her parents were LuVern T. and Cynthia Bigler Clark.
Maurine spent her early years in St. Anthony. She moved with her family to Pocatello in the fall of 1939. She attended school in St. Anthony and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1945.
Maurine married her neighbor, Irvin J. Carlson, in the Idaho Falls Temple. He preceded her in death in August 2004.
Maurine is survived by two daughters, Tamara "Tami" Thorton of Henderson, Nevada and De Ette Lambert of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers, Robert, Stephen, and Rodney Clark; and sister, Althea Marshall Havlicak of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by two sisters, Vernetta Hemming and Nelle Bartlett; and brother, Mark Clark.
A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Salt Lake Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, on Saturday the 10th from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello, Idaho,
