Henry Horton Davis, 76, of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, passed away Monday, June 13, 2005 at Cumberland River North Hospital in Celina, Tennessee. The Clay County, Tennessee native was born January 10, 1929, a son of the late William Jesse Davis and Mary Elizabeth Jackson Davis, and was a handyman. He is survived by a brother, Frank Davis, Livingston, TN; 5 sisters, Lou Iva Rush, Red Boiling Springs, TN; Virgie Mufflin, Sparta, TN; Hallie Pearl Booher and Willie Grace Johnson, both of Livingston, TN; and Melba Allen, Pavo, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Truman Davis and a sister, Sarah Daniels. Funeral services for Henry H. Horton Davis were conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Ramsey officiating. Burial was in Fellowship Cemetery in Overton County. Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN was in charge of arrangements.
