Ruth M. Kringle, 92, of Rice Lake died Dec. 19 at Rice Lake Convalescent Center. Funeral services were Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Campia, with the Rev. Michael Pancoast officiating and interment at Cedar Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Kringle was born Aug. 2, 1913 in Wascott to John and Harriet (Farmer) Corbin. She married Carroll Kringle on Dec. 3, 1933 in St. Paul, Minn., and they farmed in the Town of Doyle for many years. Mrs. Kringle was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, especially beading. She was a member of the Ada Circle and Ladies Aide at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Marie Hanel of Prior Lake, Minn.; a son, Carl of Rice Lake; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kringle’s husband, Carroll, died in 1997.
